The vRetreat Pt 2 – What did Veeam bring ?

Veeam – So what’s new ?

So in the 2nd part of the vRetreat blogpost I’d like to discuss what Veeam presented on the day.

Many of you will know Veeam very well and I’m hoping that at least some of you have heard of backup before. VeeamOn Forum 2015 – June 11 – The truth about availability

download

Veeam, famous for Backup and Replication, brings us the first of many forums to be held throughout Europe giving audiences a showcase of modern availability solutions for the datacenter and beyond. These 1 day events are designed to focus on solutions that Veeam can assist with and as an avid follower I will be attending the conference as a guest blogger courtesy of Veeam.

Head on over to this page to register to attend the event in London.

The event is free and if you wish to claim a free prize mention the name of my blog at the registration desk or mention you heard about the event at ‘Amit’s Technology Blog’ and you should get something pretty neat.

Hope to see some familiar faces there and if you see me feel free to come over and have a chat with me.

Both products are licensed per socket and have pricing options dependent on what is required so again I urge you to investigate this if this is a key requirement for your organisation. So read on if you’d like an idea of how reporting compares for both products. » Read more
